MountainLynx Catalog
Use MountainLynx, the WVU Libraries' Online Catalog, to find out what books, journals, newspapers, microforms, and audiovisual materials the WVU Libraries own.
MountainLynx contains holdings for all the WVU Libraries including the Downtown Campus, Evansdale, Health Sciences, and Law Libraries, and the West Virginia and Regional History Collection.

E-ZBorrow
- If the WVU Libraries do not own the book you want or it is currently checked out, select the E-ZBorrow button in MountainLynx or on the Libraries home page.
- Log in with your WVU ID number and search the combined catalogs.
- When you find a copy of the book available, request it directly from the lending library.
- If you don't find the book you want, you can get it through the WVU Libraries' Interlibrary Loan service.
New Books
Browse lists of books the libraries have recently acquired. Lists are generated monthly. An RSS feed of this list is available.

Search 20,000+ library catalogs for books and other materials in libraries worldwide. WorldCat contains more than 47 million records of books, periodicals, maps, scores, films, recordings, web sites, etc., cataloged by over 41,000 libraries. After verifying that WVU does not own the materials you find, you can conveniently order them through E-ZBorrow or Interlibrary Loan.

Find Sound & Video
Library Sources
Library sources for sound and video include a library database with theatrical performances, and access to lists of thousands of DVDs and videos of films in the Libraries' collections. We also provide streaming videos through MediaSite on the Libraries’ server including lecture series, campus events, and training programs.
Web Sources
Web Sources include YouTube and Google Video search, along with lesser known sources and MP3 search engines.
Find Movies
Media Services
Media Services offers instructions on how to search for movies the Library owns. They also provide lists of DVDs, videos, new media, and movies by genre. There are also links to movie databases you can use to identify movies we do not own that you can request through Interlibrary Loan.
